Good Burrito Co. is putting a new spin on the burrito business. Not only do they offer fresh ingredients and bold flavors, a portion of every tasty dish they serve benefits a good cause in the local community.
Good Burrito Co. was going up against larger competitors like Chipotle, Qdoba, and Moe's, but it was also competing in overall branding, shop atmosphere, and social media awareness.
We started the journey by sketching concepts of the logo. From there, our designer created different versions of the final logo to reflect the brand look and feel we had determined during our initial discovery.
Next came colors. This was a challenge as we needed to accurately depict the freshness of a Mexican style restaurant in our digital and physical product branding while incorporating the chosen color pallet into the shop's environmental design. There is a fine line between attracting customers with fresh, healthy colors and subtly making them uncomfortable in their new surroundings. We think we nailed it.
A major part of our involvement with Good Burrito Co. covers managing their social media accounts. We started with Facebook, posting a few teaser photos of the shop exterior and building supplies pre-opening to give future customers a sneak peak of the goodness they were expecting.
The key with any customer driven brand is to stay on top of social media engagement so they know you care about their feedback and adjusting things - to a certain degree - to maintain their appeal. Even if a few poor reviews roll in it always helps to address rather than ignore their concerns.
